Bucky Covington has a new idol: his daughter!

The American Idol alum welcomed his first child with fiancée Katherine Cook on Friday, Oct. 10, in Nashville, his rep confirms to PEOPLE exclusively.

Daughter Kennedy Taylor Covington was born weighing 6 lbs., 12 oz., and measured 18 inches long.

Both the new mama and baby “are doing well and resting comfortably following this morning’s delivery,” his rep says in a statement, adding the “first-time father is ecstatic” over the birth of his baby girl.

“We are beyond excited to start our life as a family and can’t wait to see what adventures this little blessing has in store for us,” the proud new dad tells PEOPLE.

“The nursery is done, the bags were packed and I Googled how to get to the hospital. This parenthood thing is pretty easy so far!”

The country singer, 36, and Cook, a publicist, were engaged in 2010 and announced the pregnancy in February. Although the mom-to-be presented three positive tests to Covington, he admitted he was still clueless he was going to be a father.

“The only problem was I didn’t know what they were! I was like, ‘What is this? Are you okay?’ ” the “Buzzin'” singer told PEOPLE at the time. “So she told me and I got so excited!”

It’s a boy for this Fall Out Boy!

Patrick Stump, the band’s lead vocalist and guitarist, and wife Elisa Yao are the proud parents of a son, he announced on Wednesday.

And the couple’s first child, Declan, received quite the introduction — from none other than Ellen DeGeneres.

“It’s a boy! Actually, it’s a @FallOutBoy. Congrats @PatrickStump and welcome baby Declan! See y’all in 2 weeks!” the talk show host Tweeted, along with a photo, to her 33 million followers.

Soon after, the band posted the same photo on Twitter, writing: “Welcome to the world the newest Fall Out Baby Declan.”

Stump, 30, and Yao didn’t even announce their pregnancy until last month.

“I’m about to have a kid or a tattoo,” the dad-to-be said in a radio interview. “I’m like the snows of Siberia — just untouched.”

And what advice did bandmate Pete Wentz have for Stump? “You can never have enough Kleenex and baby wipes,” he joked.

Randi Zuckerberg couldn’t be happier about her baby boy.

The children’s book author and founder/CEO of Zuckerberg Media gave birth to son Simcha “Simi” Tworetsky on Friday, Oct. 10, naming him after the Hebrew word for “joy.”

“I have a house full of boys, and couldn’t be happier!” Zuckerberg, 32, tells PEOPLE. “Baby Simi is already living up to his namesake, bringing so much joy to our family. We are in love and so thankful for this new addition.”

Simi was born in Palo Alto, California, weighing in at 6 lbs. and measuring 18 inches long. He joins big brother Asher, 3.

Both kids are sure to be tech-savvy: Their mom hosts Dot Complicated on SiriusXM and her picture book, Dot, is all about a little girl skilled with electronic devices, while dad Brent Tworetzky is an executive at online learning company Udacity. Oh, and uncle Mark Zuckerberg founded a little website called Facebook.

Talk about a grand slam: Novak Djokovic is a dad!

The pro tennis player and his newlywed wife Jelena have welcomed their first child together, a son, Djokovic announced Wednesday on Twitter.

“Stefan, our angel baby was born! I am so proud of my beautiful wife Jelena,” the proud new dad Tweeted.

“Thank you so much for your love and support. We love you all!!!”

The Wimbledon winner, 27, wed his high school sweetheart in July in Montenegro, dedicating his No.1 ranking to his growing family.

“A lot of great moments are coming: the wedding, becoming a father in a few months,” Djokovic told reporters after his big win, explaining that he would “close this chapter of tennis for a little while.”

She has something blue!

Something Borrowed star Ashley Williams is a new mom after welcoming her first child with husband Neal Dodson on Sunday, Oct. 5, she tells PEOPLE exclusively.

Son Gus Williams Dodson was born at home, weighing 8 lbs., 8 oz., and measuring 20½ inches long.

“He’s gorgeous and healthy. So far he’s soothable and calm. Knock on wood!” the proud new mama tells PEOPLE, adding her son was born to an Alexi Murdoch song.

As for her baby boy’s moniker Williams, 35, explains, “His name is Gus. For no other reason than: Who doesn’t love a guy named Gus?”

The How I Met Your Mother actress, who also moonlights as a certified doula, was surrounded by a team of midwives, a doula and a chiropractor during the birth. “We felt so safe and so lucky to have had such incredible support,” she says.

Shortly after Gus’s arrival, Williams’s costar, Jim Gaffigan, congratulated the couple on Twitter — and started the countdown to more kids.

“Big congrats to @imthesmash & @nealdodson on the arrival of Gus! Only four more kids to go. #homebirth,” Tweeted the actor, who will star opposite Williams in an upcoming comedy series.

Williams announced her pregnancy in July, joking to PEOPLE, “After years of waiting for the perfect moment to have a child, we decided to go with this moment instead. And we couldn’t be more thrilled.”

Lake Bell‘s latest role is priceless: motherhood!

The Million Dollar Arm actress has welcomed her first child, a daughter, with husband Scott Campbell, her rep confirms to PEOPLE.

No other details, including a birth date or baby girl’s name, are available.

Before her rep confirmed to PEOPLE that the couple were expecting a baby, Bell, 35, let her belly do all the talking when she stepped out for an event in April.

After months of keeping her news under wraps, Bell was more than ready to embrace her bump.

“I think you start to get overwhelmed. You can overthink it. I was just sick and tired of hiding it,” the mom-to-be told PEOPLE in May.

And going public with her pregnancy paid off. “Finally [I] can wear the dresses you can eat anything in,” she said. “You don’t have to pose for a photo and suck in.”

Ernie and Cindy Halvorsen, who ran away with the Amazing Race‘s million-dollar prize in 2011, welcomed their first child on Wednesday, Oct. 22, they confirm to PEOPLE exclusively.

Maverick Zhang Halvorsen was born at 4:25 p.m., weighing in at 6 lbs., 10 oz., and was 19½ inches long.

Baby Maverick was delivered with the help of a midwife at Prentice Women’s Hospital in Chicago.

“Baby Mav, the world is waiting for you,” says Ernie, 32. “Live in the along.”

Adds Cindy, 33: “We are unbelievably in love with our little guy and excited about our next amazing adventure!”

King James now has his own little princess.

LeBron James and wife Savannah welcomed their third child, daughter Zhuri Nova, on Wednesday, Oct. 22 in Akron, Ohio, a source confirms to PEOPLE.

The NBA star, 29, who announced his return to the Cleveland Cavaliers after four years with the Miami Heat, married his high school sweetheart in September 2013.

The couple are already parents to sons Bryce Maximus, 7, and LeBron Jr., 10.

“A person like myself always needs a great sidekick and a person you can rely on no matter the circumstances. And she’s that,” James told Harper’s Bazaar in 2010. “She’s got my back and I love her for that.”

It’s all baby for Debbie Matenopoulos: her daughter is here!

The TV personality turned author welcomed her first child with husband Jon Falcone on Wednesday, Oct. 29, her rep confirms to PEOPLE exclusively.

Daughter Alexandra Kalliope Falcone was born at 2:17 p.m. in Los Angeles, weighing 7 lbs., and 1 oz. She measured 21 inches long.

“There are no words to describe how overwhelmed with love and joy we are over our beautiful little miracle,” the proud new parents tell PEOPLE.

Adds Matenopoulos, “This is the most incredible experience I have ever had in my life, and I am so excited to be a new mom.”

It’s been a busy time for Matenopoulos, 39, and Falcone, a photographer, who secretly wed in Greece while shooting her first bestselling cookbook, It’s All Greek to Me, in 2013.

The couple are planning on having a “proper wedding” in the future, but have been concentrating on pending parenthood — and curbing the mom-to-be’s ravenous appetite.

“I’d wake up in the middle of the night and chug orange juice and I’ve never liked orange juice! I’m a monster,” Matenopoulos, who announced her pregnancy in April, told PEOPLE.

He’s getting an early start on staying up late — James Corden is a new dad.

The British actor and comedian, who will take the reins of The Late Late Show from the departing Craig Ferguson, and wife Julia welcomed their second child on Monday, Oct. 27, his rep confirms to PEOPLE.

Daughter Carey (mom’s maiden name) joins big brother Max, 3½, at home.

“I can’t describe how thrilled and honored I am to be taking over from the brilliant Craig Ferguson,” Corden, 36, said last month. “To be asked to host such a prestigious show on America’s No. 1 network is hugely exciting. I can’t wait to get started, and will do my very best to make a show America will enjoy.”

In addition to his upcoming talk show gig, the actor recently appeared opposite Keira Knightley and Mark Ruffalo in Begin Again. In December, Corden will star with Johnny Depp, Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt in the Disney adaptation of Stephen Sondheim‘s musical Into the Woods.

Jenna von Oy‘s baby girl is here!

The Blossom actress welcomed her second child with husband Brad Bratcher on Saturday, Nov. 1 at 12:35 p.m. in Nashville, she confirms to PEOPLE exclusively.

Daughter Marlowe Monroe Bratcher, who arrived weighing 7 lbs., 4 oz. and measuring 18.25 inches, joins big sister Gray Audrey.

“We are so blessed to welcome another healthy, beautiful, profoundly enchanting baby girl into our family!” the couple tells PEOPLE.

“Little Miss Marlowe is already very loved and adored, and we are savoring this special bonding time we have with her.”

As for their second child’s name, the proud parents put together a list of their favorites after they found out they were expecting — but it was 2-year-old Gray who ultimately sealed the deal.

“We began mulling over names at the beginning of my pregnancy, and came up with a few we were fond of,” von Oy, 37, says. “When we mentioned them aloud in front of Gray, Marlowe was the name that resonated most with her. She started referring to her future baby sister by name from that point on, and it stuck!”

And the sisters’ bond has only strengthened from there. “Gray was wonderfully sweet and affectionate when she met Marlowe for the first time, immediately asking to sit and hold her,” von Oy shares. “She gently caressed Marlowe’s cheek, smiled down at her and carefully gave her a kiss. It was an incredibly moving moment to witness.”

After a hiatus from her PEOPLE.com blog series, von Oy returned in June with some big news — she was pregnant!

“Our hearts are overflowing with love, and Gray is simply over the moon about becoming a big sister!” the mom-to-be, who also appeared on Celebrity Wife Swap, wrote at the time.

And now, with her baby girl having made her big debut, von Oy is taking more time off to focus on her new family of four.

“I’ll be taking a brief hiatus from my PEOPLE.com blogs for a bit, as my family and I spend some much-needed time with our new arrival,” she says. “Not to worry, however, I’m in the process of writing my book, Situation Momedy, which will be released in 2015 through Medallion Press, so this isn’t the last you’ve heard of me!”

She adds, “In the meantime, please continue following my adventures on cradlechronicles.com. I thoroughly enjoy hearing from all of you!”

Just call it destiny: Kelly Rowland is a mama!

The singer welcomed her first child with husband Tim Witherspoon on Nov. 4, her rep confirms to PEOPLE exclusively.

Born at 1:30 p.m. PT, son Titan Jewell Witherspoon weighed 7.5 lbs.

“We are thrilled to announce that today we are the proud parents of our first son,” the Talk a Good Game singer said in a statement.

“We are blessed to report everyone is healthy and happy!”

Throughout much of her pregnancy, the mom-to-be, 33, let her photos do the talking, posting a snapshot of big and mini Air Jordans in June with the caption, “I’ll be stuntin’ like my daddy.”

In July, Rowland confirmed she was expecting a son — and even dropped hints about her baby boy’s name.

“The dad picked out the name. It has to do with family,” Rowland, who showed off her baby belly at the VMAs in August, said.

But her biggest belly reveal came in October, when the proud expectant mama bared it all in a series of nude shots.

“I took a birthing class and I was amazed by all the things this woman was saying to me about birthing and what the body does naturally. Why wouldn’t you want to celebrate that?” she told Elle.

Now that she’s a new mom, Rowland is pulling double duty, caring for Titan Jewell and her newlywed husband. “When the baby gets here, it’s not just one baby. I have two babies now. My husband and the baby — you have to take care of both,” she joked to PEOPLE in September.

Robert Downey Jr. and his wife, Susan, have welcomed a daughter in Los Angeles, PEOPLE has exclusively learned.

The baby girl joins the couple’s son Exton, 2½, and Downey’s 21-year-old son Indio from a previous marriage.

Just last Thursday, The Judge and Iron Man star, 49, paid a loving tribute to his very pregnant wife and soon-to-be-born daughter during the BAFTA Los Angeles Jaguar Britannia Awards, where he received the Stanley Kubrick Britannia Award for Excellence in Film.

“It’s just the uncertainty of how nowadays you have all these things where you think you have much more of an understanding of what you’re going to get,” said Downey. “And then this little soul lets herself be known to you, and it’s just like: You don’t know anything. It’s great!”

In his acceptance speech Downey singled out his wife and producing partner, “who is literally about to pop,” and asked her to stand up for the crowd. “How is she still so darn pretty and functional and mood-stable?” he told the audience before joking that “the second pregnancy has been extraordinarily tough for me. Self-prescribed mandatory bed rest was of some benefit. At least my milk is finally coming in.”

Downey’s rep didn’t comment on the news.

Rachel Bilson‘s heart just grew: she’s a mom!

The Hart of Dixie actress and her longtime love, actor Hayden Christensen, welcomed their first child, daughter Briar Rose Christensen, on Wednesday, Oct. 29, her rep confirms to PEOPLE.

“Both mother and baby are healthy and doing well,” her rep says in a statement.

Rumors that Bilson was pregnant began in April, after she was spotted sporting a bikini while enjoying a beach break in Cancun.

In May, a source confirmed to PEOPLE that she and Christensen — whom she met on the set of Jumper in 2011 — were expecting a baby, days before Bilson showed off her growing bump in Barbados.

Although the parents-to-be have stayed mum on their expanding family, PEOPLE confirmed in July that the couple, both 33, would be welcoming a daughter.

It’s a boy!

Leelee Sobieski welcomed her second child with her husband, fashion designer Adam Kimmel, back in July, her rep tells PEOPLE.

Son Martin joins the couple’s 4½-year-old daughter, Louisanna Ray. (The baby was not born in August, as other outlets have reported.)

The actress’s rep confirmed Sobieski, 31, was expecting another baby after she stepped out for an event in May, where she showed off her belly in a cobalt gown.

Shortly after welcoming her first child, Sobieski admitted she was completely captivated by motherhood.

“I just can’t believe I’m a mom. It’s weird!” she told PEOPLE in 2010. “You look at your own mom differently. I realized, ‘You changed all my diapers? You did that?’ You really appreciate your mom.”

Bring on the blue bouquets: Poppy Montgomery is a mom again!

The Unforgettable star welcomed her third child on Tuesday, Nov. 11 in Los Angeles, her rep confirms to PEOPLE exclusively.

Son Gus Monroe Deveraux Sanford, who weighed 7 lbs., 4 oz. and measured 20.5 inches long, joins Montgomery and husband Shawn Sanford‘s daughter Violet Grace, 19 months.

Montgomery, 42, is also mom to son Jackson, 6½, from her previous relationship, while Sanford is father to son Braydon, 9, and daughter Haley, 11, from his previous marriage.

“We couldn’t be more excited to welcome baby Gus into our family. We will be forever grateful for his healthy and happy arrival,” the Microsoft executive tells PEOPLE. “His brothers and sisters cannot wait for him to be home even though we keep reminding them that baby Gus is not a toy.”

After keeping her pregnancy under wraps for six months, the actress revealed in July that she was expecting a baby boy — and was ready to start reaping the benefits.

“I’m hoping to get all of the privileges now of a real pregnant person,” she joked. “I want to be respected and given lots of royal treatment.”

But the PEOPLE.com blogger‘s biggest worry: deciding on a moniker for her newest arrival.

“A name. THE name. The name that my unborn son will carry with him for the rest of his life. What if I mess it up?” she wrote.

Glenn Howerton‘s life has hit another bright spot: he’s a dad again!

The It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia star and his wife Jill Latiano have welcomed their second son, he confirmed to PEOPLE at Thursday’s 7th annual Go Go Gala in Beverly Hills.

“We just had another kid. We really didn’t announce it,” the actor, 38, shares.

Jokes Latiano, “It’s off the grid!”

Now 3 months old, Isley Ray — named after the Isley Brothers — joins the couple’s 3-year-old son Miles Robert, who’s already loving his new role.

“He’s definitely weird like us, but he is definitely his own brand of weird,” shares Howerton of his firstborn. “He’s just funny! He does voices, he makes up nicknames for his little brother.”

“He makes up anything that can rhyme with Isley,” adds Latiano.

As for expanding their family further, the couple always knew they wanted two children – but admit now they’re not completely convinced. “We’ll see if we’re done,” says Latiano.

For now, the family of four have found a routine that works: Latiano takes the late nights while Howerton handles the early mornings.

“I let [Glenn] sleep and he wakes up with our 3-year-old — that’s when I get to sleep,” the new mom explains.

“It’s divide and conquer,” adds Howerton.

Bill Hader has another little lady in his life!

The actor/writer welcomed his third daughter, Hayley, with wife Maggie Carey on Saturday, Nov. 15, his rep confirms to PEOPLE.

Hader, 36, and The To Do List director — who kept the pregnancy completely under wraps — are already parents to Harper, 2, and Hannah Kathryn, 5.

But adding a third baby girl to the mix likely didn’t come as much of a a surprise to the former Saturday Night Live star.

“I grew up with my two sisters and my mom, so it’s my lot in life to be surrounded by women,” he told PEOPLE in September of his female-fueled household.

Scott Foley completed the mission: his baby boy is here!

The Scandal star welcomed his third child with wife Marika Dominczyk on Thursday, Nov. 13, his rep confirms to PEOPLE.

Son Konrad joins big brother Keller, 2½, sister Malina, 5, and the family’s other new addition: their dog, Frankie.

“The Foley family is overjoyed,” his rep says.

Sexy man Foley, 42 — who plays Captain Jake Ballard on the hit show — announced the pregnancy with a fun picture post in July.

“I’m not the one with the bizarre cravings,” he captioned a photo of a frying pan, Dominczyk’s birthday present to him.

With three young children and a new puppy, Foley joked to PEOPLE that he has decided to embrace the chaos.

“My new motto is, ‘Just give me the mess.’ Just throw it all my way. I’ll take it, it doesn’t matter,” he said in September.

There’s another baby on the way for the king of Queens.

Kevin James and wife Steffiana de la Cruz are expecting their fourth child, his rep confirms to PEOPLE.

The couple are already parents to son Kannon Valentine, 3½, and daughters Shea Joelle, 7, and Sienna-Marie, 9.

James, 49, and de la Cruz, 40, were married 10 years ago in California.

The actor will next appear in Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 in April and Pixels, hitting theaters in May.
