It’s a boy for AJ McCarron and Katherine Webb-McCarron!
Son Tripp McCarron arrived Tuesday, May 24, the football star announced via Twitter.
“Little man is here. We have a beautiful little boy a part of our family now,” he wrote.
“Wow is he a long one! We love you Tripp McCarron #proudparents”
Tripp is the first child for the couple, who began dating in 2012 and were married in July 2014 in Orange Beach, Alabama after a four-month engagement. He joins their dog Mac as the newest addition to the McCarron family.

The former Miss Alabama, 27, has been giving peeks into her journey toward motherhood on Instagram. Her baby shower this past January had a Cincinnati Bengals theme to honor McCarron, 25, who is the quarterback.
We’ve also gotten glimpses of Webb-McCarron’s baby belly and gear haul, where eagle-eyed viewers could catch a glimpse of the couple’s new son’s name on his baby blanket in a photo she posted in April.
Webb-McCarron announced her pregnancy this past December via an ultrasound photo on Instagram, where she wrote, “AJ and I feel beyond blessed and grateful to FINALLY announce after 4 months we have been keeping a secret! We are having a BOY!
“Thank you all so much for your prayers for us as it hasn’t been an easy journey. We thank God everyday for this wonderful blessing and can’t wait to share this journey with all of you!!” the caption continued.
